How to iron your Name Tapes into your clothes:
If you follow these steps your Name Tapes will
stick permanently to your garment. We do not recommend using Name Tapes
on stretchy or looped fabric.
1. First you'll want to select a suitable area on
the garment to put the Name Tape. For pants or shorts the inside of the
waist works well. To avoid discomfort while wearing shirts, try ironing
the Name Tape into the hem, or waist area, of the shirt. To iron them
onto socks, the sole is usually suitable.
The upper part of the sock is generally too stretchy for the Name Tape
to adhere well.
2. Turn your iron to it's hottest setting and let it heat completely.
DO NOT USE STEAM.
3. Gently tear, or cut, a single Name Tape from the sheet and position
it on the garment. The name should be facing up. You might want to pin
the Name Tape in place to prevent it from moving while you apply the
iron.
4. When the iron is hot and the Name Tape is in the spot you've picked,
apply the iron squarely over the Name Tape. Press down as hard as you
can for 10 to 15 seconds. **To avoid scorching
your garment put a handkerchief or a clean rag between the iron and the
garment**
5. Remove the iron and allow the garment to cool before you
touch it. Once it has cooled, try to lift a corner of the Name Tape.
If it is not
satisfactorily stuck to the garment simply repeat step 4.

A Helpful Tip:
A high temperature is ideal for ironing in your name tapes.
Use a handkerchief or clean rag between the iron and the garment to
prevent scorching. After you've ironed your name tapes allow
them to cool, then use your fingernail to try to peel up the
corners. If the corners come up easily re-apply the iron as
needed until the name tape is firmly stuck.
